On Saturday, September 19, 2020, nearly 25 members, 5 staffs, and 3 guests came to attend a very important meeting. After the membership meeting approved the articles of association, jointly elected and completed the first board of directors and supervisors, the "Taiwan Rainbow Crossover Rights Promotion Association (TRCRA)" was formally established.
At this "gender mainstreaming" era, the establishment of the Taiwan Rainbow Crossers Rights Association hopes that a new stream of movement will flow from the discussion of gender equality issues, and through the experience of the rainbow crossers, it will be truly implemented. Gender equality. Instead of choosing "to be the same or opposing the same", let everyone's life be able to choose "Dare to be Different." Because the uniqueness of you and me should not be defined by others, but the improvement of self-identity and self-confidence from the heart.
Rainbow Crossers are a group of people who used "non-binary gender" as their personal gender identity. Later, out of personal wishes and experience, or through professional companionship, they understand and organize their lives. After discussing various issues, they chose to use "physical sex" to define a group of people whose personal gender identity. It also includes every good friend who supports the concept of Rainbow Crossing and walks with us together.
Because of this definition, any one of us can become a rainbow crosser. In a person's life, there are many life issues that should be faced bravely. It doesn't matter whether you are gay, heterosexual, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual...etc. How these issues affect our perception of our appearance, our identification with ourselves, and our relationship with others, are silently affecting us.
We would like to invite everyone, if you are interested in the services of our association, or are willing to provide support and participation in various ways, please feel free to contact with us!
Let's keep "Dear to be True", "Dear to Love", and "Cross the Rainbow, Dare to Change" in 2021.
